A typical appointment takes 20 to 30 minutes. We’ll check how well you can see at different distances, look at how your eye muscles are working together, and examine the front and back of your eye for anything that needs a closer look.

You’re likely eligible if you’re under 16, in full-time education aged 16 to 18, over 60, registered diabetic, or you fall into a few other categories. Just ask when you call, and we’ll confirm it for you.

Every child under 16 gets a free NHS eye test, and that extends to 16- to 18-year-olds still in full-time education. If they need glasses, there’s often a voucher available towards the frames and lenses too. Private Eye Examinations

Not everyone qualifies for an NHS test, and some people simply want more depth than the standard check. That’s where our three private tiers come in: Standard, Enhanced and Optimum Enhanced, each going a little further with things like retinal imaging and more precise prescription testing.
